The Labouchere System distinguishes itself from other strategies and systems using a mathematical formula. How unlikely it may sound, it enables you to maximise the chance of profit, based on maths. It can therefore be a very attractive strategy for players who think about it all. Moreover, there is reasonable insight needed for that.
Take a goal in mind
Prior to the game, you will need to determine how much profit you would like to achieve when applying the Labouchere System. This amount will then be written on a piece of paper. Below you note a number of random numbers that are added together are your winnings and the goal you keep in mind throughout the game. The idea is that you can continue as long as you have not reached all the numbers on your list and you have achieved the income you have previously determined. Numerals can contain numbers in random order or sequential numbers. Keep in mind that the total amount of money at Labouchere can be high.
For simplicity we assume £15 profit and a number range of 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. Your first bet is then the sum of the two outer numbers (5 +1 = 6). If you win this round, strip these two numbers away from your list, but if you lose this, add the lost number to the number range. If you win, you get a series of 2, 3, 4, and at loss this will be a range from 1 to 6.
If you choose to use the Labouchere System you should have some discipline and patience. On the other hand, it is advisable to stop if you lose a lot of times after each other. If you play Live Roulette or Live Blackjack and have a winning series, the system can earn a lot of profit. On the other hand, if you have a losing series then the losses can be high. In this case, considering to stop is worth considering. This can be done for example by determining your maximum loss in advance.
